Prof. Warner teaches courses in Latin American, African, and World History. His research has focused on the indigenous history of Mexico, Latin American religious history and more recently, the global history of food. Prior to becoming a professor, Dr. Warner worked as a professional chef for a decade in California.
In his free time, Prof. Warner is an avid organic gardener, working his plot at home across the street from the College. He is active on campus in Unidos Por Sangre, International Programs, Alpha Phi Omega, and produces soups for the monthly Social Science Colloquium. He currently serves as Secretary to the Faculty.
Prof. Warner is also a consultant for College Board, working actively on the Advanced Placement World History course and exam. He serves as a member of the Executive Council of the World History Association.
