Gentlemen, I am excited to welcome you and the rest of your brothers of the Class of 2028 to Wabash College. My name is Gavinn Alstott, and I am a rising Senior from Corydon, Indiana. I am majoring in Political Science with a double minor in History and Religion. On campus, I have served as the President of the Wabash College Republicans, Vice-President of the Independent Men's Association (IMA), a member of Wabash Christian Men, and a student-athlete on the wrestling team. As a New Student Orientation Manager, I am excited to work alongside fellow mentors to effectively lead this incoming class of students. I hope to contribute to the success of each mentor and each new student in any way I can. Wabash is truly a special place, so I hope you find it worthwhile, and remember that Wabash Always Fights!

I am Biology major and Global Health minor; I plan to work in medical administration after I graduate in 2026. Outside the field of academics, I serve as the President and Philanthropy Chair of Theta Delta Chi, I’m employed as an Enrollment Ambassador for Wabash, I preform with Jazz Band and Pep Band, and am a member of the GHI and PHO. My goal as a New Student Orientation Mentor, is to help with your transition into the Wabash community and assist you along the way. I plan on providing you resources that will make this an easy and fun experience so you can achieve your goals at Wabash. I am a member of the fraternity Tau Kappa Epsilon where I’ve served in many roles like Secretary and House Manager, I am a Writing Consultant and Fellow in the Writing Center, and the President of College Mentors for Kids. After graduating from Wabash, I hope to be a teacher and a writer. I’m pumped to help you guys during your time at Wabash and to assist you in seeing the potential and the great opportunities Wabash provides. Wabash is a place full of people willing to help from the professors and staff to the students around campus. It’s a place designed for you to grow and prosper and I’m ecstatic to be a part of the process. Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask me and others for questions and welcome to the brotherhood!

Hello Class of 2028, welcome to Wabash! My name is Jehan Boyers, and I am a Senior from Carmel, Indiana, with the pleasure of being one of your two orientation managers. I am a Biology major and a Chemistry minor with goals of attending medical school and becoming a family pediatrician after my time at Wabash College. I am a brother at Phi Gamma Delta (FIJI), where I have previously served as the Recording Secretary and currently serving as the Senior New Member Educator. Outside of my fraternity, I am a part of the Global Health Initiative, Peer Health Educators, College Mentors for Kids, Asian Culture Club, and the Sphinx Club. My advice for you is to get out of your comfort zone and get involved on campus as soon as possible! Wabash has been life-changing for me in my short time here, and I am confident that Wabash can do the same for you. I cannot wait for all of you to start your life-changing journey! At Wabash, I am a brother and President of Kappa Sigma, a member of the Sphinx Club, an executive of the W.A.R. Council, and a Peer Health Educator. Post-graduation, I plan to find a job in management or analytics. The past three years at Wabash have pushed me to become a better and more well-rounded individual, and I know it will work for you as well. At Wabash, I study Financial Economics and am a Math minor. On campus, I try to keep myself busy. I am both a Rush and Social Chair at Beta Theta Pi, the Treasurer of the Cooking Club, the Vice President of the IFC, and a mentor with College Mentors for Kids, just to name a few. Wabash is an interesting, scary, and, most of all, special place, to say the least, but I’m confident that you guys will come in and make yourselves right at home. I can’t wait to see what all of you accomplish over your next four years!

Gentlemen, congratulations and welcome to Wabash College! My name is Ethan Cooper, and I am from Enon, Ohio. I am a Sophomore Biology major with a double minor in Chemistry and Spanish. I serve as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) chair of the Independent Men’s Association (IMA). I am a member of the Wabash Fishing Club, as well as a member of the Wrestling Team. I am so glad I am able to call this amazing place home, and I hope that I can assist in making it yours, too! If I could give you one piece of advice for when you start your journey here, it would be to get out of your comfort zone and be involved on campus as much as possible. The experiences you gain from this unique college will only be as fruitful as the effort you’ve put into it. Wabash has been life-changing for me in my short time here, and I have no doubt it could do the same for you. I look forward to meeting you all over the course of the next few weeks.
